Kunsthalle
Prackenbach is my parents house in the bavarian forest. It was
founded 2003 and since then promoted as a new innovative space
for contemporary art in the middle of nature. No art is exhibited
there and the future situation is very open. Kunsthalle Prackenbach
should deveolop to a participatory museum project, deconstructing
the existing institutionalized systems and constructing a new
museum out of a collective practice. It is open for a lot of
suggestions at the moment except showing art. Also it offers
artists to refer to the Kunsthalle in their CVs and invent exhibition
concepts.
As moderator I build up the marketing structure and construct
the infrastructure big international museums usually offer.
Already existing is a 1:1 maquette of the museumshop as a plug-in-architecture
for the front of the building. The products are connected to
the logo of the Kunsthalle, a classicist museum front or refer
to the museum industry in other ways.
